Response of biological signals during acoustic and optical stimulation
Strakoš, Libor ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Bubník, Karel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is recording and evaluating of biological signals connected with autonomic nervous system. Changes in signals are caused by optical and acoustical stimuli. These stimuli are pictures of different meaning. Colors, basic symbols and neutral pictures with variance in colorization are included. Acoustic stimulation is provided by short startle stimulus of white noise sound impulse. Changes in signals are statistically and subjectively evaluated as changes in emotional state of tested person. Tested people fill in a questionnaire about their feelings. Results of signal processing and questionnaire are compared at the end.
Dynamic time warping in biological signal processing
Brus, Lukáš ; Švrček, Martin (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The Method of dynamic time warping is one of the modern scientific methods. It can be used for optimalization of analysis and classification of diagrams with biological signals. One part of the bachelor's thesis is to witness the generation of a biological process while studying the electrocardiogram and ECG classifications. The final part of the thesis is the discussion of the dynamic time warping and using these methods on a real data base of ECG signals from an experiment on an animal heart. This thesis mentions the function of DTW and also discusses a self-designed program for ECG diagnosing. This program, entitled ECG diagnose, is used for characterizing changes of the ECG signals during experiments performed on animal hearts.
The skin conductivity and its use in clinical practice
Javorčeková, Lenka ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Nováková, Zuzana (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is to acquaint with the measurement of the skin conductivity and its use in a clinical practice. The applied protocol is based on a current measurement of the skin conductivity in the resting and stressful conditions. The endurance previsions were created through listening to the most favourite and the most unpopular songs. This fact was detected before the measurement on the ground of completed questionnaires.
Evaluation of biosignals and quality assessment of heart assist devices
Kalužová, Adéla ; Vlk,, Daniel (referee) ; Bernard,, Vladan (advisor)
The first part of this bachelor thesis deals with technical problems of apparatuses for heart assistance Heart Mate II LVAD and Levitronix, which are connected with components of apparatuses, parametrs of apparatuses, function of apparatuses, indications and contraindications. In the next part there is description of various biosignals, which are measured according to application of heart support aparatuses. The next aim of this bachelor thesis is suggestion of evalution biosignals, which are monitored and collection of clinical data in which I will statistically evaluated the results and these results will be compared each other and with physiological values. The final aim of this thesis is a reflection of the advantages and disadvantages of the apparatus and discussion.
Biosignal processing - clusetr analysis
Příhodová, Petra ; Maděránková, Denisa (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problem with cluster analysis and biosignal classification options. The principle of cluster analysis, methods for calculating distances between objects and the standard process in the implementation of clustering are described in the first part. For biosignals processing,it is necessary to get familiar with the primary parameters of these signals in the following sections of thesis, process biosignals and methods for recording of action potentials described. Based on studying different clustering methods is presented a program with the applied method kmedoid in the next section of this thesis. The steps of this program are described in detail and in the end of thesis functionality is tested on a database of signals ÚBMI.
Kazuistiky vystavení pacientů s CIED zdroji elektromagnetické interrference
Morava, Jan ; Richter, Aleš
Příspěvek se věnuje interakci rušivého elektromagnetického pole a srdečního implantabilního elektronického zařízení, kardiostimulátoru nebo kardioverter-defibrilátoru. Poukazujeme na široké diagnostické možnosti moderních implantátů. Chování stimulátoru v přítomnosti rušení analyzujeme na dvou kazuistikách intrakardiálního EKG z pamětí přístroje. Na dané epizodě popisujeme vliv rušení na stimulační funkci, diskutujeme mechanismus a detekci z pohledu stimulátoru. Diskutujeme individuální optimalizaci nastavení stimulátoru podle konkrétních epizod.
